Xiaomi 17T Pro: Everything We Know So Far

The most powerful T series by Xiaomi is appearing soon

Xiaomi is preparing for one of the biggest mid-year launches, and all possible leaks are sent rapidly to it. The Xiaomi 17T Pro looks set to be a barnstorming upgrade over its predecessor — and it could arrive sooner than anybody expected.

Early Launch Window

The Xiaomi 17T Pro is now said to arrive as soon as May 2026, not in the traditional late-year release window — almost four months ahead of the company’s usual T-series timeline. That would certainly make it a genuinely atypical step for Xiaomi which has previously confined its T-series to fall. Nokiamob

Performance: Dimensity 9500 Inside

The global Xiaomi 17T Pro has surfaced in a Geekbench AI listing, which features the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 – MediaTek’s latest 3nm silicon – and around 12GB of RAM. The tablet with that chip is the 17T Pro, firmly at the top of the performance stack on it — and obviously just like this high-end chip already powering devices such as Vivo X300 Pro and Oppo Find X9 Pro. Display

Xiaomi 17T Pro has a AMOLED display with a size of 6.83-inch at 1280×2772 pixels resolution and its refresh rate is going to be around as much as a ton of 144Hz. At the top of that smooth panel, which follows Xiaomi’s preference for a clean aesthetic in recent T-series releases. GSMArena

Camera: Leica-Tuned Triple System

More on the camera, Xiaomi 17T Pro will feature a total of four cameras, including a 50MP main shooter using the Light Fusion 950 sensor with f/1.74 aperture, a 50MP telephoto with up to 5x optical zoom also using Light Fusion but this one having an f/1.8 aperture while it will be complemented with two more: a dedicated ultra-wide shooter of about (12) MP and at last for selfies (32) MP. The new device is also likely to come with a special Leica tuning that has become a usual feature of Xiaomi’s premium devices. El-balad

Monster Battery

At the high end, we have the Xiaomi 17T Pro with a maximum 7,000mAh battery (from the previous generation?) And up to 100W wired charging (up from the previous’ 90W capabilities) and a whopping 50W wireless Charging. Furthermore, that capacity marks a significant leap from the 5,500mAh cell fitted in last year’s 15T Pro. El-balad

Software

It will run on HyperOS 3 skin over Android 16 OS. Gizmochina

Design & Colors

Coming to the dimensions, the Xiaomi 17T Pro will be measuring 162.2 × 77.5 × 8.25mm and weighs in at a heavy 219gwhile being available in colors — Blue, Black and Purple. GSMArena

Price

It is believed that the price of the Xiaomi 12T Pro (12GB / 512GB) will be about €999 in Europe. Both 17T and 17T Pro are priced around €100 more than their respective predecessors (the 15T and 15T Pro) were at launch last year – a sign that Xiaomi is continuing to take the flagship more seriously. Verdict

The Xiaomi 17T Pro is seriously stacking up as one of those mid-2026 Android flagships to beat, with its new sandwich silicon, Ju Bose OLED display at $799 credit card price for the obscene amount of battery and Leica camera system. The wait isn’t too long given the potential May launch ahead.
